Experience Flow Reality
Wellington Harbour coastal drive
Start / Wellington Harbour

Coastal Drive to Petone

Depart Wellington at 0945 and trace the western edge of the harbour toward Petone, Wellington's oldest settlement. Use this as the scenic orientation: water, foreshore history and the shift from city centre to neighbourhood food culture.

Specialty coffee roastery tasting
Stop 1 / Coffee

Specialty Coffee Roastery

Visit a specialty coffee roastery on the Petone foreshore. The public tour story describes coffee's journey from shrub to cup, with a guided tasting that compares brewing methods, tasting notes and how each method changes character.

Local Petone produce tasting
Stop 2 / Local Produce

Forage and Regional Flavour

Continue to Forage for locally sourced and produced tastes, with the approved trade version kept to food-product sampling. Position this stop as dairy-focused, seasonal and regional, with exact supplier details confirmed by Zozo.

Jackson Street Petone food neighbourhood
Stop 3 / Jackson Street

Petone Food Neighbourhood

Guests get time in Petone's Jackson Street precinct, known on Zozo's public page for a dense run of cafes, eateries and local food stops along an 800-metre stretch. Treat this as neighbourhood context and free exploration.

Petone chocolatier tasting
Stop 4 / Chocolate

Chocolatier Tasting

Finish the approved tasting arc with a resident chocolatier. The public page describes a chocolate tasting and making lesson, with French and European-inspired recipes adapted to locally sourced New Zealand products and premium couverture chocolate.

Return toward Wellington Harbour
Return / 1415

Drop Back to Wellington

Return guests to Wellington after the final approved food stop. Use the 2027-2028 trade timing of 0945-1415, and keep the route aligned to the current coffee, local produce and chocolate tasting structure.

Eligible Pickup / Meeting Points

Pickup begins 30 minutes before departure. The trade manual default meeting point is the Wakefield Street pickup/drop-off lane at Takina Convention and Exhibition Centre.
